Abstract
A stabilized chlorine-containing resin composition having improved thermal stability comprising a chlorine-containing resin and, as a stabilizer, a melted then solidified mixture having a melting temperature of about 50.degree. to about 180.degree. C. of at least one polyhydric alcohol and at least one ester derivative of a polyhydric alcohol.
