Abstract
Herbicidal agents, containing as active ingredient a compound of the formula ##STR1## or their salts with acids, are useful for combatting a great variety of mono- and dicotyledonous weeds. In the formula R.sub.1 is methyl or halomethyl, R.sub.2 is OH, SH, OM or SM (M=equivalent of a base), R.sub.3 is the same as R.sub.2 or an ester, amide or hydrazide group, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are preferably hydrogen and X is oxygen or sulfur.
