Abstract
A polyester film, typically a support for photographic material is coated, prior to coating a hydrophilic organic colloid layer, with a subbing composition containing at least one compound represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein a and d each represent 1 or 2; b and c each represent 0, 1, or 2 but b and c must not be 0 at the same time, A represents a divalent group; and n represents 0 or 1.
