Abstract

Compounds of the following general formula are useful for increasing coronary blood flow in mammals: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, acetyl, p-fluorobenzoylpropyl, carbamoyl, N-methylcarbamoyl, N,N-dimethylcarbamoyl, phenylcarbamoyl, or N-(.omega.-morpholinoethyl)carbamoyl; R.sup.1 is hydrogen; R.sup.2 is hydrogen or hydroxy; or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 taken together form a second bond between the carbon atoms bearing R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 ; R.sup.3 is hydrogen or fluorine and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.
