Abstract

A color photographic material having on a support at least a photographic emulsion containing an excellent colored coupler represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sub.2 represents a phenyl group having a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, or an aryloxy group at the ortho-position to the imino group bonded to the 3-position of the pyrazolone ring of the coupler; and R.sub.3 represents a phenyl group having a hydroxyl group at the para-position to the azo group of the coupler; the coupler having a hydrophobic diffusion-resisting group in the molecule thereof.
