Abstract

Pharmaceutical compositions containing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound and 5,11-dihydro-11-[(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-acetyl]-6H-pyrido[2,3-b]-[1,4]be nzodiazepin-6-one or a non-toxic acid addition salt thereof, and a method of using the same as antiphlogistics; the pyridobenzodiazepinone ingredient effectively suppresses the gastro-intestinal side-effects of the anti-inflammatory ingredient.
