Abstract

Complex catalysts for hydroformylation which comprises (A) a cobalt carbo component and (B) at least one component selected from the group consisting of 3-pyridylpropionic acid esters of aliphatic polyhydric alcohols, 3-pyridylpropionic acid esters of aliphatic pyridylalcohols and dipyridyl ethers. The catalysts promote hydroformylation of olefins at low temperature and pressure and are especially easily separated and recovered.
