Abstract

Bis-amides of formula ##STR1## and salts thereof, where R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are hydrogen; alkyl of up to 9 carbon atoms, alkenyl or alkynyl of up to 4 carbon atoms, or aryl, groups optionally substituted by certain radicals; or cycloalkyl of 3-7 carbon atoms; and R.sup.1 and R.sup.4 are as R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 or amino groups optionally substituted by certain radicals, are fungicides, especially against soil borne fungal diseases of plants.
