Abstract
An improved process for concentrating and dewatering of mineral suspensions by filtration which comprises adding to the suspension prior to the filtration as filter aid a composition containing a sulfosuccinate of the formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each are an alkyl radical having about 6 to 12 carbon atoms and Me is an alkali metal, and an aliphatic amine having at least 5 carbon atoms.
