Abstract
5-�1-Hydroxy-2-(heterocyclic-amino)!alkyl-8-hydroxy-3,4-dihydrocarbostyril derivatives having the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and A, when taken together with the nitrogen atom to which it is attached, form a 5- or 6-membered substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic ring containing 1 or 2 nitrogen, or oxygen atoms as hetero atoms, the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, and a process for preparing the same.
