Abstract
Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein Y is phenoxy, alkylphenoxy, alkoxy, phenylthio, alkylphenylthio, thioalkyl, alkyl or arylamino, and x is 1 or 2, and compounds of the above formula wherein one or both of said aromatic rings are substituted, e.g. with an alkyl group, and their use as antiwear and antioxidant additives in lubricants.
