Abstract

The present invention relates to a refractory materials used in processing molten metals comprising combining at least one of the refractory materials selected from the group consisting of SiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, MgO, ZrO.sub.2 with an activatable element for labeling which has an activation cross section of over 1 barnand apparatus made from a plurality of differently labeled refractory components.
