Abstract
In the production of ethylene polymer and copolymer telomer waxes by vapor phase polymerization at elevated temperatures and pressures in the presence of a free radical initiator, improved production rates of more linear wax products with reduced reactor fouling are obtained by carrying out the reaction at about 140.degree. C and utilizing 2-t-butylazo-2-cyanobutane as an initiator.
