Abstract

An aluminum alloy electrical conductor consisting essentially of 0.07 - 0.2% Mg, 0.02 - 0.05% Zr, balance Al with minor amounts of other elements, annealed at 200.degree. - 300.degree. C to precipitate ZrAl.sub.3 and having an electrical conductivity of at least 60% IACS.
