There is disclosed herein a novel compound, 6,7-epoxy-1-(p-ethylphenoxy)-3,4,7-trimethyl-nonane, which synergizes the insect regulation activity of 6,7-epoxy-1-(p-ethylphenoxy)-3-ethyl-7-methyl-nonane.
