Abstract

Peroxycarbonates having the following formula are copolymerizable with non-conjugated ethylenically unsaturated monomers and have good storage stability, ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having one to four carbon atoms, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represent lower alkyl groups having one to four carbon atoms, and R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group having one to 12 carbon atoms or a cyclo alkyl group having three to 12 carbon atoms.
