Abstract

Antibacterial compositions are provided comprising a polyhalogeno-hydroxydiphenyl ether and either a tribrominated salicylanilide or a trichlorocarbanilide in a weight ratio of 9:1 to 1:9; these compositions are particularly effective in combination with detergent materials.
