Abstract
An oxygen-containing cyclicfluoro compound selected from the group consisting of a perfluorolactone having the formula ##STR1## a perfluorocyclic ether having the formula ##STR2## and mixtures thereof is produced by reacting an .alpha.,.omega.-diiodoperfluoroalkane having the formula
