Abstract

Novel 8-azaprostanoic acid derivatives and processes for preparing the same are disclosed. Said 8-azaprostanoic acid derivatives are shown by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 2 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or methyl and R.sup.3 is hydrogen, or R.sup.1 is methyl when R.sup.2 is hydrogen and R.sup.3 is methyl. They exhibit Prostaglandin-like activities and are useful as bronchodilators, stimulating agents for childbirth, abortion or labor, and/or for the treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders.
