Abstract
Copolymers having elastomeric properties are prepared by the polymerization of olefinic monomers with catalysts of modified Ziegler-Natta type, wherein a mixture of isobutylene and butadiene is used as olefinic monomer. The process renders possible the preparation of elastomeric copolymers from cheap raw materials, such as the C.sub.4 -fraction formed by the pyrolysis of gasoline.
