Abstract

Polymers containing anti-oxidant functionality have been found to be useful as viscosity index (VI) improvers for high temperature service. The anti-oxidant moiety prevents extensive oxidative decomposition of the polymer making the polymers particularly useful with lubricating oils used in diesel engines.
