Abstract
Novel lubricant additives are provided comprising compositions based on alkenylsuccinimides containing at least one alkenylsuccinimide of the formula: ##STR1## WHERE R is an alkenyl group of about C.sub.20 to C.sub.200, m is an integer equal to 0, 1 or 2, and n is an integer equal to 0 or 1. These compositions can be prepared by condensation of an alkenylsuccinic anhydride with N,N,N',N'-tetrakis-(3-aminopropyl)-ethylenediamine.
