Abstract
The present invention relates to organometallic complexes which contain at least two metal atoms, or a metal atom and a proton, and at least one ligand representing a metallated unsaturated chelating six-membered ring system, where the metallation involves the formal replacement of a methine group by an organometallic complex. The compounds of the invention have utility as both homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts of hydrogenation, polymerization, isomerization, hydroformylation and metathetical exchange reactions.
