Abstract
An electrical socket has a body with a pair of spaced-apart channels for receiving the prongs of a male electrical plug. A pair of electrical contacts are mounted in said body respectively adjacent to said channels and in communication therewith. A pair of legs are pivotally mounted on the body and are movable between locking and unlocking positions. Each leg carries a finger which enters the aperture of the prong on the associated electrical plug when the legs are in the locking position thereof.
