Abstract

Novel triesters of pentavalent phosphorus acid having the formula: ##STR1## WHEREIN X is chlorine, bromine, or hydrogen, Z.sup.1 and Z.sup.2 are independently selected from bromine, chlorine, or hydrogen; R.sup.1 is methyl, chloromethyl, bromomethyl or hydrogen; and R.sup.2 is methyl, chloromethyl or hydrogen, except that R.sup.2 is chloromethyl when R.sup.1 is bromomethyl, and non-scorching plastic composition containing polyurethanes and said triesters of pentavalent phosphorus acid.
