Abstract
The penicillanic acids of the formula ##STR1## wherein Z is an oxygen or sulfur atom and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and physiologically hydrolyzed esters possess antibacterial activity and are particularly valuable in treating Pseudomonas infections.
