Abstract
4,4-Diphenylcyclohexylpiperidine compounds and their analogs of the formula: ##STR1## wherein the dotted line in Ring A indicates an optional bond; R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or a lower alkyl group; n is 1 or 2; m is 0 or 1; and Am is a piperidino group of the formula: ##STR2## where R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or a lower alkyl group, and the dotted line in Ring B indicates an optional bond; And pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed. They exhibit potent and long-lasting psychotropic effects.
