Abstract
This invention relates to new processes for the production of a 1-N-(.alpha.-hydroxy-.omega.-aminoalkanoyl)-3'-deoxy-5-O-pentofuranosylnea mine, including 3'-deoxybutirosins A and B, as a semi-synthetic antibiotic. This invention further relates to new and useful semi-synthetic antibiotics which are produced by the above new processes.
