Abstract

Siloxanediolate/p-dioxane complexes and processes for preparing the complexes. Sodium or an amalgam thereof is reacted with arylsilicondiola in the presence of p-dioxane to form the complexes. Complexes are useful in preparing the corresponding aryl polysiloxanediols.
