Abstract

1,2-Dithiole derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1, X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 represent hydrogen, alkyl of 1 through 4 carbon atoms or alkoxy of 1 through 4 carbon atoms, at least one of X.sub.1, X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 representing hydrogen, and Y represents sulphur or oxygen or the hydroxyimino radical, are new compounds useful in the treatment of bilharziasis and amoebiasis.
