Abstract
A process for the regeneration of a spent molybdenum-containing ammoxidation catalyst which comprises heating the catalyst at atmospheric pressure or higher and at 400.degree. C or higher for at least 1 hour in an atmosphere comprising 20-45% by volume of steam, the balance being air or a gas inert to the catalyst under the above conditions.
