Abstract
The invention is directed to a catalytic process where two unsaturated substances of which at least one of them is a high molecular weight polymeric material containing double bonds either along the main chain or as part of pendant side groups, are inter-reacted by means of an olefin metathesis reaction leading to the formation of new and useful polymeric materials.
