Abstract

A fuel mixture, comprising from 10 to 60 mols % acetylene and from 40 to 90 mols % ethylene, is prepared by mixing the two constituents in the gaseous phase at a pressure slightly above atmospheric pressure and at a temperature ranging from -25.degree. C. to +20.degree. C.
