Abstract
Insulated wire or cable having primary insulation between copper conductor and moisture barrier filler and wherein the primary insulation comprises ethylene polymer having a density of about 0.928 to 0.955, Copper deactivating amounts of at least one organic compound which is an alkyl hydroxy phenyl alkanoyl hydrazide, and/or a substituted amido triazole, and Antioxidant effective quantities of at least one organic compound having a molecular weight of .gtoreq. 550 and which contains .gtoreq. four hindered phenolic groups per molecule thereof.
