Abstract
The present invention relates to new compositions, containing as active ingredient 4-nitro-5-carbamoyl-imidazole derivatives, which compositions are for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in poultry. The 4-nitro-5-carbamoyl-imidazole derivatives correspond to the following general formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represent hydrogen, or an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
