Abstract

A new process for the manufacture of alkoxylated N-methylol compounds, which comprises reacting A. a N-methylolated organic nitrogen compound with B. an alkylene oxide of the formula ##STR1## wherein R denotes hydrogen, alkyl with 1 to 3 carbon atoms, phenyl or a ##STR2## radical, in the presence of C.
