Abstract

A method of determining dopamine-.beta.-hydroxylase (D.beta.H) activity in biological fluids which comprises reacting a D.beta.H-specific substrate with a sample of said biological fluid in the presence of ascorbate, fumarate and oxygen and measuring the uptake of oxygen by the resulting hydroxylation with an oxygen-sensing electrode.
