Abstract

Fungicidally and bactericidally active thiocarbamates of the formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 represents a methyl, methoxy, halo or trifluoromethyl group; R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, a methyl, methoxy, chloro or nitro group; R.sup.3 represents hydrogen or a methoxy group; and R.sup.4 is an ortho- or para-hydroxy group. The compounds find particular use as slimicides and as preservatives for various industrial preparations.
