Abstract

Disclosed are lubricant compositions containing adducts of an amine with a phosphate ester of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or alkyl having up to 25 carbon atoms in the chain, R' is hydrogen or alkyl having up to 7 carbon atoms except only one of R and R' can be hydrogen or octyl.
