Abstract

Hydrocarbon gas streams containing small quantities of molecular oxygen are found to adversely affect the adsorptive characteristics of zeolite adsorbent beds at temperatures above 350.degree. F. Problem is avoided by converting the oxygen to readily sorbable compounds prior to contacting the bed with the gas stream.
