Abstract
A pressure-sensitive or heat-sensitive recording material which contains as color former at least one tetrahydroquinoline compound of the general formula ##STR1## wherein EACH OF R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represents lower alkyl, cycloalkyl or benzyl or together represent alkylene, and
