Abstract
A rapid and efficient method for disinfection of waste liquid such as sewage effluent by means of a fluid disinfecting agent, (e.g. ozone or chlorine) in which the disinfecting agent and all of the waste liquid to be treated pass through a turbulent flow zone within a limited period of time. Also disclosed is specific apparatus for carrying out the method.
