Abstract
Apparatus for measuring the flow of fluids by thermal means. A flow meter of the heated conduit type is operated in a constant temperature mode to produce two output signals, one proportional to the differential temperature between two points in the fluid and the other proportional to the power required to maintain that temperature differential constant. The power is a measure of the mass flow and the heat capacity of the fluid.
