Abstract

Preparation of titanium tetraperchlorate, vanadium perchlorate, and chromyl erchlorate by the reactions of chlorine perchlorate with the respective anhydrous metal chlorides at a temperature from about -45.degree. C to about 20.degree. C. These perchlorates are useful in compounding gas generating compositions.
