Abstract

The sound absorbing properties of plasters, based on synthetic resin emulsions as binders, are improved, if as binder dispersions are used the polymer content of which has a dilatometrically determined second order transition temperature of between -20.degree. C and +10.degree. C, and if the fillers consist of at least 70% of material having a grain-size of from 0.35 to 1.5 mm.
