Abstract

Novel odorants of the formula: ##STR1## where one of the R's is a hydrogen atom and the other is a methyl group and R.sup.1 is either the 1- or 2- isobutenyl group. Their use in odorant compositions, method or preparing such alcohols and compositions and novel intermediates for I are also disclosed.
