Abstract

The present invention provides an apparatus for forming a textured air jet yarn by passing a yarn through texturing means whereby the yarn is false twisted and heat set in the twisted condition, passing the textured yarn through an air jet where the air is fed into the yarn at an angle of 45.degree.-75.degree. and passed cocurrently through the jet with the yarn to interlace the yarn and then collecting the textured, interlaced yarn.
