Abstract
Apparatus to enable potentials applied to various operating components of an electrostatic type reproduction machine to be measured by an electrostatic voltmeter. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises structures designed to place the sensing element of the voltmeter in predetermined spaced relationship with a test plate, the test plate being electrically connectable to the source of potential to be measured. In another embodiment, the apparatus locates the voltmeter sensing element in predetermined spaced relation with both the reproduction machine photoreceptor and the test plate. As a further alternative, a source of calibrating potential is provided for use in calibrating the voltmeter through the test plate.
