Abstract

A relay assembly has a field coil with a first core carried generally therewithin and a second core situated generally externally thereof; the second core has first, second and third upwardly directed legs with such first and second legs having upper disposed terminal surfaces; a base portion joins the first, second and third legs to each other and further supports a lower end of the first core; a resiliently deflectable armature has downwardly directed terminal surfaces which move toward the upper terminal surfaces upon energization of the coil during which the three legs in cooperation with the first core and base serve to provide three magnetic flux loops.
