Compounds of the formula: ##EQU1## in which R.sup.4 and R.sup. 5 are methyl or R.sup. 4 is hydrogen and R.sup.5 is alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or phenethyl, or a non-toxic acid addition salt thereof, are claudogenic-interceptive agents useful in preventing or terminating pregnancy in mammals.
